Just trying to keep up the daily(ish) photo habit, guys. Here are a few photos I took the other morning.

Jeannie typically wakes me up between 5:30 and 6:00 each morning to go outside and pee and sniff around. I decided to follow her lead and sniff around for things to photograph (and probably pee somewhere) as we headed out the door and into the blinding morning light.

The first thing Jeannie did was chase a few crows off the lawn, one of which flew directly overhead. It appeared to be carrying a small piece of vegetation in it’s mouth, probably to patch up some part of it’s nest.

I noticed that the moon was clearly visible as I was snapping photos of the crow.

The pop-up camper had been opened up the previous day to air it out in preparation for a weekend of camping my oldest son was planning.

I took this photo just because I like the look of birch bark.

Jeannie found a good chasing stick and proceeded to demonstrate how incapable I am of catching her as she zooms around the yard.

Suddenly, she turned into a ferocious bloodthirsty beast and devoured me.
