I live Caribou, Maine, on the east side of the Aroostook River. Nearly every day since Kim and I bought our house in 2008, I’ve crossed the Fort Street Bridge to get to town for groceries, work, etc. That means that I’ve crossed this bridge approximately 10,000 times since we’ve lived here.

Before I met Kim and we bought a house together, I had crossed this bridge relatively infrequently and did so usually on foot during long walks I took around the area.

Recently I heard there would be some major repairs/upgrades to the bridge in the next year or so. This past Sunday (Father’s Day) I decided to take a few photos of the bridge.
