I’m not sure why, but I’ve always found graffiti fascinating. I don’t really understand the motivation behind it, nor do I understand any of the messaging, ideals, codes, or memes associated with most of it.

Nevertheless, I’m always drawn to photograph it, if for no other reason than it’s something interesting to look at.

Here are some photos I took earlier this year that feature some of the grittier portions of Caribou.
