In my youth (early twenties) I spent quite a lot of time wandering aimlessly around Caribou and surrounding towns with my first digital camera. I was also a wanna-be writer in those days and would compose a lengthy blog article to chronicle my adventure (here’s an example).
In those early days, I took more photos than video because my digital camera was limited to taking 30 seconds of very low quality video. Now I have a camera that can take hours of much higher quality video, but I find myself being drawn back to taking still photographs. I’m not sure why yet, but I’m going with it.
Now in my mid-forties (and about 75 lbs heavier) I find myself wanting to pick up that habit again for both creative and health reasons.
Last Sunday I decided to take a short walk around Presque Isle and shoot some random photos.
Here is the result.
