First Friday Art Night

·

Kim and I run a company called Riverbed Art and occasionally (not as much as we’d like) attend local events as a vendor to sell Kim’s artwork. Last Friday we attended the First Friday Art Night in Presque Isle, Maine, where they shut down a block of Main Street for a couple of hours for local artists, food trucks, and an open-mic stand where anyone can sing and play instruments.

I took my camera along but failed to bring my monopod and chose to use a lens with no built-in image stabilization. Needless to say, as I was rushing around with frozen hands (it was very windy and cold that evening), the video I shot was very shaky and there is only so much Davinci Resolve stabilization can do for your shaky footage.

My solution was to further degrade the footage with film damage plugins to make it look like archival footage.

And here it is.
