I found a website promoting RSS feeds while scrolling through my RSS feed aggregator this morning: I ♥ RSS

It is a site that provides a directory of other websites that offer RSS 2.0 feeds. I immediately submitted my site to the directory (since WordPress provides feeds by default) and added their badge to the footer of my website.

Sites that promote the use of RSS feeds are, in my opinion, part of the solution to doomscrolling. I’m working on putting up an instance of FreshRSS and making it publicly available for people who want a place to maintain their own collection of RSS feeds to get their daily news without endless scrolling.
