Here’s a few quick photos I took while Kim and Jeannie and I went for a walk along the river bed this evening.

I haven’t taken much time to walk along the river bed this summer. I’ve been busy processing photos, producing videos, building this website, and trying to figure out how to effectively use social media (it’s tough for an old blogger like me).

I decided to take some photos with my newest lens, a Canon RF 24-105mm zoom lens. It’s my new favorite — light, sharp, relatively inexpensive, and with enough zoom range to be useful in most situations.

This tiny flower is beating the odds, making it’s way through the smallest spaces between the rocks of the river bed.
Jeannie keeps an eye on us as she performs a routine inspection of the area.
I add eyes to this rock every year. He’s my “meh” rock.
This took several attempts to get Jeannie to sit still long enough to snap a decent photo.
